NEEC-CT Presents an Environmental Stewardship Award

 
     
 

NEEC-CT presented Tri Town Foods in Uncasville, CT an Environmental Stewardship Award. Tri Town Foods was recognized for demonstrating leadership in community and business, by participating in several energy-efficiency projects funded by the Connecticut Energy Efficiency Fund, and in partnership with the Connecticut Light and Power Company. These actions produced an annual savings of 339,767 kwh, which equates to the environmental impact of saving 80 acres of trees or 33,000 gallons of gas.
