BUILDING PERFORMANCE INSTITUTE
BPI provides a professional accreditation for companies engaged in delivering Home Performance with ENERGY STAR contracting services in their market. Accredited contractors agree to follow BPI standards in conducting their work and use BPI's independent, third-party Quality Assurance Program. Through a national network of affiliate organizations, candidates for BPI certification receive training and take written and field examinations in the areas of Building Analyst, Envelope, Heating, Air Conditioning, Multifamily Building Analyst, Multifamily Building Operator, and Multifamily Hydronic Heating System Designer.
