MA LEADING THE WAY IN GREEN ENERGY
Senator Michael W. Morrissey and DOER Commissioner Philip Giudice will be speaking about the Green Communities Act signed into law by Governor Patrick on July 2, 2008. The Green Communities Act represents landmark, comprehensive energy legislation for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts with broad mandates for energy efficiency, renewable power and alternative energy development. Senator Morrissey will discuss key provisions in the Green Communities Act and its likely impact on the energy and environmental communities in Massachusetts and Commissioner Giudice will discuss issues around implementation.
